To use standing: 1. Unfold the slip. 2. Completely unfold the front of the slip and slide the back of the slip between the legs, front to back. 3. Position the slip correctly and close the tabs, first the lower tabs then the upper tabs. 4. Check that the slip is positioned correctly and is not too tight. Lying down: 1. Unfold the slip. Turn the patient on their side with their back to you. 2. Completely unfold the front of the slip and slide the back of the slip between the legs, front to back. 3. Position the slip correctly before turning the patient onto their back. Close the lower tabs and then the upper tabs. 4. Check that the slip is positioned correctly and is not too tight. To dispose: Wrap securely and discard with normal household waste.
