Usage instructions:
Directions for use:
Before first use, place in boiling water for 5 minutes to sterilise. If breastfeeding is not possible, this bottle may be used to give expressed breast milk or prepared infant formula to your baby. Always wash your hands before preparing feeds or feeding your baby. Keep the teat in a dry, covered container and out of direct sunlight. Make up the feed according to the manufacturer's instructions. Use cooled, freshly boiled water for feed preparation.
Care instructions:
Before sterilising, wash bottles and accessories thoroughly in warm, soapy water to ensure all milk deposits are removed. Squeeze the teat to ensure any residual milk is removed. Sterilise by immersing teat in a feeding bottle sterilising solution, according to the manufacturer's instructions. To prevent damage, do not clean the bottle with, or allow it to come into contact with, solvents or harsh chemicals.
Sterilisation instructions:
Before sterilising, make sure hands are clean by washing thoroughly with soap and water. To sterilise, and before first use, submerge this product and all its components in a pot of boiling water for at least 5 minutes. Ensure there are no trapped air bubbles. Make sure the pot remains covered until the product is needed. After every use, and before sterilising, wash this product and all its components thoroughly in warm, soapy water using a brush to remove any deposits. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. If using a commercial steriliser, please follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Warnings:
Tooth decay in young children can occur even when non-sweetened fluids are used. This can happen if the baby uses the bottle for long periods during the day, and particularly during the night when saliva flow is reduced. Do not let your baby use this item unsupervised and keep all components not in use out of reach. Before each use, pull the teat in all directions. If there are any signs of damage or weakness, discard and replace. Remember, feeding teats should not be used as a soother. Do not put directly into the microwave. Bottles can be sterilised using a microwave sterilising unit only. Never heat a sealed bottle in a microwave oven. Shake the bottle well to ensure even heat distribution and always check the temperature of the bottle contents before offering to your baby. Do not leave a feeding teat in direct sunlight, near heat or in sterilising solution for longer than recommended as this may weaken the teat.
