This hormone is secreted by the developing placenta shortly after implantation. From the onset of pregnancy the hCG concentration in a woman's urine increases rapidly, making the hormone a good marker for pregnancy testing. The number of weeks of pregnancy can be estimated by a visual reading of the test. Recyclable: Board carton. This carton contains 80% recycled content. Please recycle. How to use
Usage instructions:
Test procedure: 1. When you are ready to do the test, open the sealed pouch by tearing the end off at the notch. Remove the test device from the pouch. 2. Hold the test device with one hand. Use the other hand to pull off the cap of the test device and expose the absorbent tip. 3. Pointing the absorbent tip downward, place the exposed tip in your urine stream for at least ten seconds. 4. Re-cap the device, place horizontally on a flat surface and wait for the colour band to appear. Depending on the concentration of the hCG, a positive test result may be observed within 30 seconds. However to ensure that very low hCG concentrations are not missed initial negative results should be left for at least 5 minutes before reading the result. 5. Do not read the test result after more than 15 minutes, as it may change or become unreliable. Refer to the product insert for a visual description on how to read results.

Gave results as early as 8 days post ovation, which was a feint positive line. I would say it is reliable because it was reliable for me.

Doesn't work
I used the test as indicated. Saw it absorb the liquid as I placed it flat on the counter. Waited and waited. Waited 40 Mins and no result. Neither positive or negative. What a waste of money.
