RECIPE: Malva ice cream cake

A modern twist on this delicious classic.

Malva Pudding is one of our new favourite ways to enjoy ice cream! This sticky sponge treat is hard to beat when you put it with your favourite ice cream flavour!

Serves 4 - 6

Ingredients 

Method

  1. Remove the ice cream from the freezer and leave to soften for 30 minutes.
  2. Cut the malva pudding into large cubes. Line and grease a non-stick loaf tin or small spring-form cake tin.
  3. Spoon a third of the ice cream into the base, followed by half the malva pudding.
  4. Top with another third of the ice cream, followed by the remaining malva.
  5. Finish off with the remaining ice cream.
  6. Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  7. Remove from the tin, scatter with coconut chips and serve.
