Usage instructions:
Preparing the feed: Please follow preparation and feeding instructions carefully; failure to do so may make your baby ill. Important information: The package insert provides information for proper preparation in various languages. 1. Wash your hands and sterilise all equipment thoroughly, following the manufacturer's instructions. 2. Boil clean safe drinkable water before every bottle feed. Let cool to approximately 50 degrees C. Do not use repeatedly boiled water. 3. Measure the required amount of previously boiled water into a sterilised feeding bottle (referring to the feeding guide). 4. Use enclosed scoop and add the correct number of scoops of powder. Add 1 level scoop of powder to every 30 ml of water. Level off the powder with the back of a clean dry knife, do not press the powder. 5. Place the sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and shake well until all the powder has dissolved (approx 15 seconds). 6. Cool to drinking temperature (approx 37 degrees C) by holding the bottle under cold running water. Always test the temperature of the milk before feeding. Feeding guide (1 scoop = approx 4.3g powder): Approx. age of baby - single feed preparation level scoops - cooled boiled water ml - feed in 24 hours: 1st week - 2 - 60 - 5-7. 2nd week - 3 - 90 - 5-7. 3rd - 4th week - 4 - 120 - 5-7. 2nd month - 5 - 150 - 5. 3rd - 4th months - 6 - 180 - 5. From 5 months on - 7 - 210 - 5. This table is a guide only; your baby may need more or less than the volumes stated. If you require more advice please consult your registered health professional. Important feeding information: Only use the scoop provided in this pack. Do not make infant formula weaker or stronger than indicated by adding extra water/scoops, and do not add anything else to formula drinks. For hygiene reasons, always freshly prepare feeds. Only one feed should be prepared at a time and do not prepare in advance. Always use made up feeds within 2 hours of preparation and discard any leftover milk after this time period. Do not heat feeds in a microwave, hot spots may occur which could cause scalding. A responsible person should always be with your child during feeding. Hold your child upright during feeding. Please clean your child's teeth regularly. Introduce a cup or beaker as soon as possible to prevent prolonged/frequent contact of teeth with growing up milk which may increase the risk of tooth decay due to carbohydrates present in milk formula. Please consult your registered health professional for advice on feeding. Packed in a protective atmosphere. For technical reasons, packaging cannot be filled completely. This product left our factory in a faultless condition - please ensure that the tin is undamaged before use.

Storage instructions:
Close the tin tightly after each use and store it in a cool, dry place. Once opened, use contents within four weeks.

Breastmilk is the best food for babies. This product shall only be used on the advice of a health professional. Use: HiPP organic infant formula is intended for babies that are not being breastfed and when formula feeding is chosen. At the age of 6 months and when baby's hunger is no longer properly satisfied, please contact your health professional regarding follow-up formula. Infant formula increases an infants risk of allergy.
