Detailed Description:
Linctagon-C contains the active ingredient Pelargonium sidoides extracted from the roots of the Pelargonium plant indigenous to South Africa. Pelargonium sidoides can assist the body with immune support and to relieve symptoms associated with the common cold as well as acute and chronic respiratory infections. Quercetin and bromelain can assist the body with inflammation and congestion experienced during respiratory infections.
The active ingredients can also provide hay fever support. In addition, Linctagon-C contains vitamin A, -C and zinc that are required for a healthy immune system.

Usage instructions:
Dosage and directions for use:
Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. For optimal efficacy, take the recommended daily dosage for at least 5 days.
Adults and children 12 years and older:
Acute: take one effervescent tablet dissolved in half a glass of water three times a day, after a meal.
Chronic: take one to two effervescent tablet(s) dissolved in half a glass of water daily, after a meal.
After 1 month of use, take a break of at least one week before starting chronic use again.
For children under the age of 12, Linctagon-C junior is available in two flavours.
Storage instructions:
Store below 25 degrees C. Store away from moisture and direct sunlight. Replace cap firmly after use.
Warnings:
Do not use if known hypersensitivity or allergy exists towards any of the ingredients. People using anti-coagulant- or anti-platelet medication, such as warfarin, should use this product with caution as pelargonium sidoides may have a blood thinning effect. Products containing herbal ingredients may interact with some medication. If you are taking any chronic medication, do not use this product without consulting your medical practitioner. Do not use after date of expiry. Check expiry date on unit. Refer to package insert for more information. This medicine has not been evaluated by the medicines control council. This medicine is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Empty stomach?
I have a short term relief just after I drink it due to the acidity but still the flu gets worse. Can you take this on an empty stomach? I force myself to eat something before taking it but because of my lack of appetite when I'm sick it's not the usual amount I eat.
