Pleasantly surprised - Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Pourless Foundation Classic Tan
One word- Fabulous!
Oh my, why didn't I try this foundation earlier? Bought it 5 days ago at Clicks. I mostly use a heavier foundation to cover my dark spots but due to an expensive purchase I had made after payday, I had to cut down on my makeup spending. Maybelline seemed a likely option seeing that it was R109.95 and I could use my cashback I figured, why not? Super glad that I did :)
It's important to note that this foundation is lightweight and great for concealing minor imperfections while leaving skin looking matt. My skin tends to get oily and often results in a shiny face after a couple of hours. Surprisingly, Maybelline worked for me. Because it is lightweight, I had to use a concealer first to cover my spots and applied the foundation on top. If you do not have any hectic dark spots then a concealer will not be necessary.
To avoid my skin having a wet look because the foundation is in liquid form, I purchased the Fit me pressed powder. I could not find the 335 powder so I settled for the 350 (caramel) shade. Must say, great combination!
For an affordable and lightweight foundation, I highly recommend Maybelline Fit me. If looking for something heavier, then this might not be it.
