Recommended portion size: 6-12 months - 1-3 years: Instant baby maize porridge - 25g - 35g. Amount of liquid to make porridge - 80 ml (just over 1/4 cup) - 110 ml (just under 1/2 cup). Do not add salt and/or sugar. See panel marked easy to prepare for further instructions. Easy to prepare: Note: these preparation instructions are based on the recommended portion size for a baby aged 1-3 years. See portion size table for recommended portion sizes for younger babies. 1. Wash your hands and the utensils you need. 2. Put 3 tablespoons (35g) of Purity instant baby maize into a bowl. 3. Warm just under half a cup (110 ml) of breast milk or formula milk or the milk you are currently feeding your baby in a pot or microwave and add to the porridge, stirring quickly to avoid lumps. If desired, you may use cold milk. 4. Always test temperature of porridge before feeding.
