Nycomed.Scheduling status:S1.Proprietary name and dosage form:Reparil®-gel.Composition:100 g contains:Aescin - 1.0 g.Diethylamine salicylate - 5.0 g.Pharmacological classification:A 13.9 dermatological preparations - special combinations.Pharmacological action:Reparil®-gel has analgesic properties.Indications:Symptomatic relief of pain associated with superficial soft tissue injuries, such as certain sports injuries.Provides temporary relief from the minor pain and stiffness of rheumatism and muscle soreness.Identification:A transparent, colourless to light yellow gel with odour of lavender and isopropyl alcohol.Presentation:Tubes of 20 g, 40 g and 100 g.Date of publication of this package insert:23 April 1993.Contents: 40 g.

Storage instructions:
Keep the tube tightly closed. Store at room temperature (below 25 degrees C). Keep out of reach of children.
Warnings:
Contra-indications:Hypersensitivity to the ingredients. Do not apply to broken skin and excessively raw areas.Side-effects and special precautions:Erythema. Desquamation. Urticaria and angio-neurotic oedema may occur in aspirin sensitive patients following exposure to local application.Due to its alcohol content, Reparil���®-gel should not be applied to areas of eczema or ulceration, nor to skin exposed to therapeutic irradiation, but only to the surrounding parts in order to avoid a possible burning sensation.Known symptoms of overdosage and particulars of its treatment:Systemic poisoning may occur from application to very large areas of skin.For external use only.Keep out of reach of children.
