Top tips for creating homemade fresh clouds of cotton candy. Use granulated sugar and powdered colouring for best results. Run the machine until it heats up before pouring in sugar and colouring. Use skewers to twist cotton candy. Cotton candy should be ready in 5 min!
Extremely disappointed with this product. I was super excited to purchase the candy floss machine for my kids but boy was i let down. Sugar flies everywhere when switching it on, its so messy, time consuming and not worth buying
I wonder whether my specific candy floss machine is defective? It takes forever to turn 2 spoons of sugar into candy floss and by then the machine is so clogged with sugar on the plastic outside rim that I haven't tried making more. I'm using sugar specifically marketed for candy floss machines ;granulated and coloured with powdered colourant; and switching it on for 5 minutes before I put in sugar - as per the manufacturer's instructions. Useless contraption. I wanted to make candy floss for my son's birthday party, but it's too much effort to even make candy floss for my own two kids.
