Indications: Bausch & Lomb saline plus solution is indicated for the rinsing of contact lenses after cleaning and before placement on the eye. Use with heat disinfection, chemical disinfection or hydrogen peroxide systems. Can also be used as a diluent for enzymatic cleaning tablets. Directions: Refer to enclosed insert. Indications: Bausch & Lomb saline plus solution is indicated for use as a rinsing agent after cleaning of contact lenses and before placement on the eye. It may be used with heat disinfection, chemical disinfection (cold) or hydrogen peroxide systems. It can also be used as a diluent for enzymatic cleaning tablets. Dosage and directions for use: Rinsing after cleaning: Clean your lenses with your daily cleaner as instructed by your eye care practitioner. After cleaning thoroughly rinse lenses with Bausch & Lomb saline plus solution by holding the lens between the index finger and the thumb or placing it in the palm of the hand. Direct a steady stream of Bausch & Lomb saline plus solution on to the lens. Heat disinfection: Fill the chambers of your lens storage case 2/3 full with Bausch & Lomb saline plus solution. Place the cleaned lenses into the appropriate chambers. Tightly close the caps of the chambers. Place the storage lens case into the disinfecting unit and follow the operating instructions for the unit. After disinfecting, your lenses are ready for placement on the eye. Chemical disinfection and hydrogen peroxide systems: Clean, rinse and disinfect your lenses as directed by your eye care practitioner. Before placing the lens on your eyes, rinse them thoroughly with Bausch & Lomb saline plus solution. Lenses that are chemically disinfected may absorb ingredients from the disinfecting solution which may cause irritation to the eye. A final rinse with saline solution may reduce the potential for irritation. Protein removal/enzyme tablets: Clean and rinse your lenses as directed by your eye care practitioner. Bausch & Lomb saline plus solution may be used to dissolve enzymatic tablets. Follow the directions provided with your enzymatic cleaner.
