Only once enough water is added to the body water box will the heating element work again. It will take roughly 3 minutes to be functional again.Combination use:One steamer basket: use one steamer basket to cook the same kind of food (e.g. peeled potatoes). When putting food in the steamer basket, do not let this block the holes at the bottom of the steamer basket, as this will prevent the steam from flowing. Two steamer baskets: place the larger quantities of food requiring more cooking time in the lower basket; put the fast-cooking food in the upper basket. Since the juice can drip from the upper basket, make sure that it does not affect the flavours of the food below.Three steamer baskets: always place the largest pieces of food with the longest cooking time in the lowest basket. Steaming time for foods in the top basket is usually slightly longer than 3-5 minutes. Because the foods in the top basket need a longer time to reach cooking temperature. If you cook different kinds of foods at the same time, food with the longest cooking time should be placed in the lower basket, e.g., if you cook meat, fish or poultry and vegetables together, always put the meat, fish or poultry in the lower basket so that meat and other juices does not drip onto the vegetables.Adding more water:Add more water if the appliance has been operating for a long time. When adding water to the water holder, use a suitable device.Steamed rice:1. Place rice and water in the rice container.2. Put the rice container containing rice and water in the steamer basket.3. Cook the rice according to instructions.Removing the steamer baskets, or using them in a microwave oven to heat foods:1 overlap the first layer basket, the second layer basket and the third basket, and then place on the base tray. Assemble the lid. Lock each basket and base tray.2. Turn over the hand handle and move the food to the desired place.3. You can put cold food in a basket, together with the base tray and lid. Then place the basket in a microwave oven to heat the foods.Cooking guides:The times stated in the following table are just a guide. They may vary depending on personal preference. The times in the following table are determined by the cooking time of the food in the lowest basket. If additional cooking time is required, add more water for steaming. When the recommended time is reached, the timer will sound automatically.
