Usage instructions:
Preliminary patch test: Prepare by mixing 1-part bleaching powder and 2-parts creme activator into a smooth paste in a mixing bowl. Apply to dry skin areas and let it dry. Leave for 24 hours, checking regularly. Check for any reaction to the solution, i.e. reddening of the skin, a burning feeling or swelling of the skin. If any of these occur, the person is allergic to the product. Do not proceed: If an allergic reaction does not occur, proceed with a hair strand test as an indicator. Apply the solution to a strand of hair, leave for 5-15 minutes, checking regularly. Time given is a guideline, please monitor your hair colour to ensure you have reach the desired hair colour. If satisfied with the results, proceed with the application, as per the application process below. Items required: Towel. Brush. Gloves. Hook. Watch/timer. Tint brush. Comb. Mixing bowl. Shampoo. Application: Wear disposable gloves provided. Hair must not be wet or washed before application. Comb or brush hair well. Mix 1-part bleaching powder and 2-parts crème activator in a mixing bowl. Apply the mixed solution with a tint brush on either foil, thermal papers or highlight cap. Apply the product on the hair evenly, starting 0.5cm from the roots. Highlight processing guideline: Depends on results given from the hair strand test. Please note the duration given below is a maximum guideline, hair should be checked regularly. Highlight processing guideline: Lightening levels: 4-5 tones. Hair colour - duration. Light blonde - 20-25 minutes. Medium blonde or dark blonde - 30-35 minutes. Light brown or medium brown - 40-50 minutes. It is very important to check hair regularly to ensure a good result. When process is completed, remove foils or cap. Rinse hair well with warm water. Shampoo hair and rinse well. Apply Vida's ultra conditioner Plus +, 5-10 minutes, comb through gently and then rinse well. Style as required.

Important: Different hair types may react differently to the product. Imported Hair may require more processing time. Check hair regularly during the application process. The processing times are guidelines only; however, it is not recommended that the processing times stipulated are exceeded and Vida accepts no liability as a result of a failure to adhere to the application instructions. Different hair types and the condition of scalp and hair (i.e. Scalp or hair could be: damaged, porous, dry, oily, previously coloured hair, sun bleached scalp or hair, relaxed hair, brittle hair, etc.) will affect processing time and even performance of the product. Perform a patch test on the skin prior to application to ensure no allergic reaction. A qualified hairdresser or technician should maintain control of the application process. When the desired result has been achieved within the time limit as per the highlight processing guidelines, rinse off immediately. Follow all the steps below. Please note warnings. Do not mix or shake solution in a sealed tub or bottle. Discard unused solution. Always prepare a fresh solution. Check hair regularly. Warning: The product can cause a severe allergic reaction. Bleaching powder contains peroxides. Crème Activator contains Hydrogen Peroxide. Ingredients can cause skin irritations. Store in a cool dry, dark place. Keep out of direct sunlight. Do not expose to heat. Do not shampoo or wet hair prior to application; apply to dry hair only. If product comes into contact with eyes, rinse well with lots of water. Do not swallow. Seek immediate medical attention if: skin and eyes have an adverse reaction to the product or if you swallow the product. Avoid powder inhalation and ingestion. Use in well-ventilated areas. Do not mix or shake in a sealed container. Use suitable gloves (as provided) at all times. Do not apply to damaged scalp or hair. Do not apply or use on eyelashes or eyebrows. A preliminary patch and hair strand test is recommended prior to each use of the product. Do not use on sensitive skin, inflamed or broken skin or with sores on scalp. Do not use if the hair has been coloured or dyed with henna or metal salts. Highlight kit to be mixed and applied by professionals or qualified hairdressers. Use at own risk.
