Eulactol heel balm contains 25% urea to effectively soothe rough, dry and cracked heels and thickened skin.
Urea is known to hydrate and moisturise the skin and provide relief to rough, dry skin areas. Dry skin occurs as a result of a lack of moisture in the skin. Urea increases the uptake of water by the epidermis and also coats the skin with a protective barrier to ensure that the skin remains hydrated.
Urea also acts as an exfoliating agent to remove dead and dry skin cells, thereby softening the skin.
