5 Male celebrity fragrances we can't get enough of

Have you ever wondered what David Beckham smells like? Or how about Justin Bieber or Antonio Banderas? Well, thanks to the rise of male celebrity fragrances, you can now get a (highly curated) whiff of what these gents would prefer to smell like. Celebrity brands represented 2% of the total fragrance market in 2000, and that number has grown to 6% in recent years, which means it's here to stay.

We recently caught up with local perfumer Tammy Frazer, founder of Frazer Parfum (a bespoke perfumery in Cape Town that produces natural and organic fragrances for the home, body and mind), to find which fragrance notes are making waves at the moment, so we could pinpoint the male celebrity fragrances that will be on-trend come 2020. 

“There has been a major shift towards health and wellness notes of late,” says Tammy. “The most popular fragrance notes for men's fragrances in 2019/20 include pale, clean, dry white wood and waxy, fleshy green notes like aloe.”

Antonio Banderas Seduction in Black EDT

This modern scent raises the stakes with an alluring combination of spicy accords with sweet fruit and warm wood notes.
