Eno Active Fruit Salt Regular Flavour a white, free flowing powder 5g x 10 that contains citric acid, sodium bicarbonate and sodium carbonate which react in water to produce sodium citrate which has antacid properties. As an antacid ENO relieves heartburn, sour stomach or acid indigestion. It works by neutralising excess stomach acid. As a Urinary Alkaliniser, it renders the urine less acidic. How to use
Usage instructions:
Dissolve one sachet of ENO, or one teaspoon of powder (5 gm) in a glass of water (150 ml) and drink up. It is recommended to consume ENO as soon as it has completely dissolved in the water. Eno powder is indicated for adults and children aged 12 years and above. Minimum dosing interval: 2 hours.
Storage instructions:
Keep in a cool (at or below 25°C), dry place.
Warnings:
Use with care in patients suffering from oedema and renal insufficiency. Eno Active Fruit Salt does not eradicate bacteriuria, although they may temporarily relieve lower urinary tract symptoms. Do not use if suffering from congestive heart failure or hypertension except under the advice and supervision of a doctor. Do not exceed the recommended dose as excess or prolonged use may lead to alkalosis. Treatment should be discontinued if there is no improvement in condition. Keep out of reach of children. Should not be used in children under 12 years
