Usage instructions:
Coloring your hair: 1. Mix: Put on coloring gloves. Snip off tip of the cream color developer applicator as shown, then remove applicator cap from bottle. Pour all of the ammonia-free colorant into the developer bottle. Replace applicator cap securely. Place gloved finger over open tip, pointing away from your face. Shake vigorously until mixture is totally blended. Note: color of mixture during application and development is not the final color result. 2. Apply: Part your hair into 4 equal sections as shown and secure each section with a plastic clip, especially if your hair is long. Unclip one section of hair. Then use applicator tip to make 1/8 inch partings through the rest of the section and apply mixture to the root area at each parting. Do not rub mixture into scalp. Repeat on three remaining sections. If mixture gets on skin, gently wipe it off with a damp towel. 2a. If this is your first time coloring: Comb or gently work remaining mixture through the rest of your hair, saturating hair completely through to the tip. Leave on hair for 25 minutes total. For resistant gray hair, leave on for an additional 5 minutes (30 minutes total). For ultra blonde shades 03, 04 and 05, leave on for an additional 20 minutes (45 minutes total). 2b. If you are re-coloring or retouching your hair: After applying mixture to root area only, leave on for 20 minutes total. For resistant gray hair, leave on for an additional 5 minutes (25 minutes total). For ultra blonde shades 03, 04 and 05, leave on for an additional 20 minutes (40 minutes total). After root area timing is complete, work remaining mixture through the rest of your hair and leave on an additional 5 minutes. 3. Rinse: Add a little warm water and gently massage color mixture through hair. Rinse hair thoroughly until water runs clear. Discard unused mixture. 4. Condition: Evenly apply entire contents of after-color conditioner packette. Leave on for 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Style as usual. For the next time you color: Keep the inside tab of your Revlon ColorSilk™ box to help you remember your shade the next time you shop. Preview/strand test - 48 hours before coloring: Haircolor results can be affected by permanent waving, straightening, overexposure to the sun, previous coloring and other stress factors. To see how your new color will look, use the remaining mixture from your allergy test. Snip a small swatch of hair 1/4 inch wide and tape it at one end. Place the swatch in the test mixture, making sure that each hair strand is completely covered. Leave in mixture for 25 minutes. For ultra blonde shades 03, 04 and 05, wait 45 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and dry to preview your new color.

Storage instructions:
Store unopened kit in a cool, dry place until ready to use (do not refrigerate).

This product contains ingredients which may cause skin irritation on certain individuals and a preliminary test according to accompanying directions should first be made. This product must not be used for dyeing the eyelashes or eyebrows, to do so may cause blindness. Hair colorants can cause severe allergic reactions on certain individuals. Read and follow instructions. This product is not to be used on children. Temporary "black henna" tattoos may increase your risk of allergy. A skin allergy test must be completed 48 hours before you use this product, even if you have used coloring products before. Buy the product in advance to allow for the 48-hour allergy test. Do not color your hair if: You have a rash on your face or sensitive, irritated, or damaged scalp. Do not color your hair if: Iou have ever experienced any reaction after coloring your hair. Do not color your hair if: You have experienced a reaction to a temporary "black henna" tattoo in the past. Do not use to dye eyelashes or eyebrows. Wait at least 14 days after relaxing, bleaching, or perming before coloring. Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse eyes immediately if product comes into contact with them. Wear suitable gloves. Rinse hair well after application. Keep out of reach of children. Colorant contains phenylenediamines and resorcinol. Developer contains hydrogen peroxide
