How to use
Usage instructions:
Directions: a small amount can be used on clean, dry hair, but this gel works best when used on clean, wet or damp hair. Apply more for tighter curls, and less for elongated curls. For wash n go styles, apply as needed, raking through hair with fingers, then finger-styling hair into place. Air dry or use a diffuser on a light setting. For twists and coils, apply to sections of hair, distributing to each area and combing through from roots to ends (use more for thicker/longer hair).Prepare each section according to desired style (twists, braid outs, bantu knots, etc.) allow hair to completely dry, then take down each section. Style as desired. For optimal results, prep hair by first using with Aunt Jackie's oh so clean shampoo, in control conditioner, and quench! Intensive leave-in conditioner.

Great Styler
This gel is great for braid outs, twist outs, wash n go, finger coils but its not a great gel for slicking down type 4 hair into buns and ponytails.

My new best friend
I recently started using this product and was so impressed. My hair doesn't shrink at all & I just love my curls. Get so many compliments on how nice & long my hair is but it's only when I started using this specific product because my hair doesn't turn into a curly ball after diffusing!
I've got now 7 or 8 different products in the Aunt Jackie's range that I'm using

Awesome product
I love this hair gel. It does not dry out my natural curls...

It works
I have been using this gel daily for quite sometime. My husband and my son use it as well. This gel defines my curls well. I have short afro-textured hair. It does not flake. I prefer it to Eco Styler Gel. The only tip is not to use too much and to ensure that you work the get into your hair. This is a solid product.

Not A Fan
It doesn't work for my hair and I think that is because I have high porosity hair or it just doesn't agree with my texture. My hair shrinks and gets really crusty. I'm glad I got the sachet, the tub would have been a waste of money

Don't shrink gel
The gel does elongate the hair quite nicely. But for me, it always leaves reside on my hair which means I then have to wash it after using the gel, which is not very nice.

Smooth gel
It does wonders for my natural hair , no flaking and cracking. It gives a natural shine and leaves my hair looking and feeling stronger.

Works amazing on my type 4 hair. No residue and does not dry out my hair. Also gives great definition to my curls.

My oh my oh my how i love this gel.. i must say i had my doubts, but my hair loves it.. it has just enough hold for my kinky curls

In the top 3 of flaxseed gels
There are many great gels on the market for natural hair but I woul have to say that Flaxseed Don't Shrink Elongating Curling Gel is definitely in the top 3. No flaky build up, bouncy curls and no stickiness on hair either.

Aunt Jackie's Elongating Curling Gel
This product is by far the best gel I have used on my curly hair. It does not flake, it easily rakes through my hair when applying it without drying out during the process. It dries to a lovely shine, not an ashy look like other gels. Another great point is that it does not make your hair look stiff and lifeless, although it has great, firm hold. It gives awesome definition to curls, and can be revived in the mornings with a light spray of water if necessary.
