Sterilisation instructions:
1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water, and dry.
2. Immediately after feeding, rinse out the bottle and teat with running water.
3. Wash the bottle and teat with hot water and detergent soap.
4. Use a bottle brush to remove any residual particles of feed.
5. Turn the teat inside out, wash with hot water and detergent soap, and flush water through the feeding holes.
6. Allow the parts to dry on a rack in a clean ventilated area.
7. Thorough sterilisation may be achieved by one of the following methods:
Boiling:
Submerge all bottles and parts (on a wite rack) in a pot of water, and bring to a boil.
Boil for a minimum of 6 minutes. Using clean tongs, lift all parts from the water and place upside down on a clean towel to dry.
Steam sterilisation:
Place all bottles and parts in an Avent® Steam Steriliser, or similar device, and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Microwave sterilisation:
Place all bottles and parts in an Avent® microwave steriliser, or similar device, and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
