Detailed Description:
Contents:
12 re-usable (6 double-sided) wax strips.
Effective even on short hair.
Mandy's soft-feel wax strips for sensitive skin are made from soft fabric, providing the ultimate in waxing comfort. Suitable for fine hair growth, the wax is infused with soothing calendula extract. The strips are perfectly sized to deal effectively with larger areas such as arms, legs and body. One simple treatment leaves your skin looking naturally smooth and hair-free for up to 6 weeks. Over time, regular waxing produces silkier, sparser and softer hair.
Waxing is the ideal hair removal solution as it removes the hair and the root from the follicle. The hair takes 4-6 weeks to grow back, and when it does, it's finer and softer leaving a smooth, silky finish!

Usage instructions:
Important: read these instructions carefully before waxing.
For safe & successful use it is crucial that instructions are followed precisely.
Warm the strip by rubbing it between your hands for 20 - 30 seconds.
Both sides of the wax strip are useable.
Each wax strip can be used several times.
Always check the direction of hair growth. Apply the strip firmly in the same direction of hair growth. Rub very firmly. Immediately remove in the opposite direction to hair growth.
Always pull the strip back quickly, keeping your hand as close to the skin as possible.
Before waxing:
For the best results and the smoothest finish, make sure that unwanted hair is at least 3 - 4 mm long so that the wax can grip effectively. If your hair is long, trim to about 5mm.
Patch test:
Prior to each application it is crucial to complete a patch test. Following the instructions below, apply the wax strip to a small area to be waxed. Remove the wax strip & wait 24 hours to ensure no irritation develops. Your skin may become slightly reddened - this is normal & will disappear after a few hours. In extreme cases of skin irritation discontinue use. If no reaction occurs, proceed with application.
Prepare skin:
Ensure area to be treated is clean & thoroughly dried, & free from oils & lotions. In humid conditions apply talc powder to the area to be waxed.
Detailed directions - read and follow carefully.
1. Warm a double strip between your hands:
Warm the strip by rubbing it well between your hands for 20 - 30 seconds or rub a few times on your thigh for 10 seconds. When warmed properly the strip will seperate easily leaving an even deposit of wax on each strip. It is unnecessary to warm the strips in very hot climates. If the room temperature is extremely hot, place the strips in the refrigerator for a few minutes before use.
2. Slowly seperate the double strip (both sides are usable):
Place the one strip aside for use later; make sure the wax side is up to avoid an accident. Any remaining open strips left after your waxing session is complete, can simply be folded in half for later use.
3. Firmly smooth the one strip onto the area to be waxed in the same direction as your hair growth:
It is important to press the strip down onto the skin, applying pressure with your hand and quickly rub firmly and repeatedly in the direction of hair growth (+- 10 motions).
4. Instantly pull back the strip in the opposite direction of the hair growth:
Hold the skin taut with one hand and grip the bottom of the wax strip with the other. It is vital for the skin to be held taut to prevent any movement of the skin when the strip is removed. The faster this is done the more effective the result.
When pulling back the strip it should be pulled directly back, parallel to the skin and not upward. Pulling upward will pull the skin up and may result in bruising, or the hair not being removed effectively. To relieve discomfort immediately place firm pressure onto the waxed area with your hands.
5. Moisturise:
Apply a moisturiser or baby oil to soothe skin and remove wax residue - never use water or alcohol to remove any wax residue.
Mandy's expert tips:
Keeping skin well exfoliated and moisturised between each wax treatment ensures the best result for every wax. Exfoliation will prevent dead cells from building up and causing ingrown hairs. A well moisturised skin will allow hairs to slide out of the follicles more easily, thereby preventing hairs from being broken at surface level.
Warnings:
Cautions:
Do not:
Use if diabetic. Diabetics have a slower healing rate and tend to bruise because of poor circulation. Insulin also makes skin more sensitive. Use on areas treated with retin-a, glycolic acid, or alpha hydroxy products. Use any products containing fragrance, alcohol or deodorants before or immediately after waxing. Wax over acne, cuts, sunburnt skin, moles, varicose veins, warts, eczema or any other skin ailments. Wax repeatedly over the same area as this could cause bruising. Scratch or rub skin after waxing. Expose waxed area to harsh sunlight or hot water before or after waxing. Tan for 8 hours before or after waxing. Apply wax to any area around the eyes, inside the nose or to any area sensitive to heat or with a skin injury. If irritation occurs - please consult a doctor.
