If you are on any medication or suffering from any medical condition, it is advisable to seek medical advice before starting any new medicine, supplement or remedy. Do not exceed recommended dosages unless on the advice of a healthcare practitioner. Hepatic or renal insufficiency. Patients with the rare hereditary condition of sorbitol intolerance should not take MenaCal.7™ chews and MenaCal.7™ chews4kids. Contains Sorbitol which may have an effect on the glycaemic control of patients with diabetes mellitus. Contains Sorbitol and may have a laxative effect. Patients with the rare hereditary condition of sorbitol/maltitol/lactitol intolerance should not take MenaCal.7™ chews and MenaCal.7™ Chews4Kids chewable tablets. This unregistered medicine has not been evaluated by the SAHPRA for its quality, safety or intended use.Interactions:All forms of vitamin K may interact with blood thinning medications such as warfarin or coumadin. Please consult your doctor before using MenaCal.7™ if you are taking anti-coagulant medication such as warfarin.Human reproduction:Safety during pregnancy and while lactating has not been established.Known symptoms of overdosage and particulars of its treatment:High doses of calcium exceeding the recommended dosage can result in thirst, hypotension, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, respiratory depression, muscle weakness and cardiac arrhythmias. Treatment should be symptomatic and supportive.
