MenaCal7 is a calcium supplement with Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 as MenaQ7. This formulation works synergistically to ensure an optimal intake of three key ingredients which may ensure optimal bone health.
Adults composition:
Vitamin K2 as MenaQ7 = 45mcg.
Calcium = 500mg elemental calcium.
Vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol = 400IU.
Sugar free.
Lactose free.
Gluten free.
Kids composition:
Vitamin K2 as MenaQ7 = 22.5mcg.
Calcium = 250mg elemental calcium.
Vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol = 400IU.
From the age of 4 years old.

The importance of Vitamin K2:
Osteoblasts are cells that build up bone tissue and they produce the bone protein, osteocalcin. This protein binds calcium to the bone matrix to build healthy bones.
Osteocalcin is a Vitamin K-dependent protein, which means it needs Vitamin K2 to function properly.
Vitamin K2 is responsible for "activating" osteocalcin. Many studies with Vitamin K2 have linked Vitamin K2 to bone health.
Indications:
MenaCal7 ensures an optimal intake of calcium:
Before and during menopause to help prevent osteoporosis.
During crucial periods of bone growth such as childhood.
During exercise and dieting.
Contra-indications:
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Interactions:
All forms of vitamin K may interact with blood thinning medications such as warfarin or coumadin. Please consult your doctor before using MenaCal7 if you are taking anti-coagulant medication such as warfarin.
Safety:
Natural vitamin K2 as MenaQ7 is declared GRAS (generally regarded as safe) by the FDA and as a dietary supplement in the USA.
