Add the prescribed amount of Neocate junior with prebiotics to the water. 3. Cover and shake until the powder has dissolved. If taken orally, Neocate junior with prebiotics is best served chilled. The recommended standard dilution for children is 30 kcal/fl oz. This can be achieved by mixing the following amounts of powder and water. The scoop provided weighs 8.2 g. Scoops are to be leveled and unpacked. Water - Amount of neocate Jr powder - final volume: 4 fl oz (120 ml) - 4 scoops or 32.8g - 5 fl oz (150 ml). 7.5 fl oz (225 ml) - 7 scoops or 57.4g - 9 fl oz (270 ml). 21 fl oz (630 ml) - 20 scoops or 164g - 25 fl oz (750 ml). Household measurements: 1 cup = 100g - 1/2 cup= 50g - 1 tbsp = 6.8g. 1/3 cup = 34 g - 1/4 cup = 25g - 1 tsp = 2g. Household measurements are approximations only. For accuracy use a gram scale. Do not boil formula. Do not use a microwave oven to prepare or warm formula.

Storage instructions:
Storage: Once prepared, the formula should be stored in a refrigerator and kept no longer than 24 hours from the time of preparation. Shake or stir immediately before use. Store unopened can at room temperature. Do not store at extreme temperatures. Once opened, reseal can and store at in a cool, dry place (not in refrigerator) and use within one month of opening.
