Usage instructions: The Nuk micro express plus is practical, economical and suitable for all Nuk Nature Sense, First Choice-. and classic bottles (glass and PP) and for other commercially available baby feeding bottles made from these materials. The steriliser disinfects up to 4 bottles and accessories in just 4* minutes. Your Nuk bottle parts are suitable for microwave sterilisation. Description of use: The sealed Nuk micro express plus is placed in the microwave. The microwave then allows the water to evaporate and the hot steam which is generated disinfects the parts inside. Use: 1. Carefully wash and rinse bottles and accessories bottles using the Nuk bottle cleanser or a mild dishwashing liquid. 2. Remove the lid of the Nuk micro express plus. 3. Pour 200 ml water into the base of the microwave steam steriliser. Cleaning instructions: 1. To avoid limescale deposits, dry the Nuk micro express plus with a cloth after every use. 2. The unit can be washed in a dishwasher if it gets dirtier than usual. 3. If you have to remove limescale, use diluted household vinegar. Safety instructions: General instructions: Always move the unit at the base never with handle! Please read these operating instructions carefully before using the Nuk micro express plus. These instructions are part of the Nuk micro express plus and must be available at all times. Use the Nuk micro express plus only for the intended purpose described. If you own a combination microwave oven, ensure that the Nuk micro express plus is not exposed to the heat of the grill, otherwise it may be damaged. When sterilising in a microwave oven with additional functions, please ensure that only the microwave function is activated, i.e. do not activate the grill function, the upper and lower heat, etc. as this may lead to material damage. Nuk micro express plus may only be set up on a firm, level, dry and non-flammable surface. Never leave the unit unsupervised during operation. Nuk micro express plus must not be placed on cooker hotplates, put in a hot oven or set up close to gas and flow heaters. Be aware that after disinfecting, bottles only remain sterile (disinfected) as long as the Nuk micro express plus remains closed. The bottles will remain sterile for about 30 minutes with the unit closed. Preventing burns and scalds: The Nuk micro express plus operates at high temperatures using hot steam. To prevent burning or scalding yourself please follow the instructions below. Nuk micro express plus is very hot when it comes out of the microwave oven. Wait at least 5 minutes until it has cooled down before removing. Wear oven gloves to transport the hot Nuk micro express from the microwave oven to the place where you are putting it down. When the unit is hot, only move it by the base. Do not use the handle of the lid to transport the unit just in case the bottom part becomes loose and drops on the floor. Take care when opening the lid as there is a risk of scalding from the hot steam. Only open the lid by tilting so that hot steam can escape. Remove bottles and accessories using the tongs provided. Easy to use: A. Fill container with 200 ml of water. B. Place the bottles and accessories onto the bottle holder. C. Secure lid and carefully place into the microwave for 4* minutes at maximum power.

Warnings:
Not all products are suitable for microwave sterilisation. Before using the appliance, please always check manufacturer's instructions for each product to be sterilised. Damage to components may occur if the instructions are not followed, for example deformations of bottles. The Steriliser is suitable for microwaves with an output of between 500 and 1000 W. *Please note objects with metal parts cannot be steam sterilised. This includes the Nuk 2 in 1 bottle brush. Its is essential to use a measuring jug to ensure the 200 ml capacity is adhered to exactly, otherwise the Nuk micro express plus and/or its contents may be damaged. 4. Put the bottles upside down in the opening provided for them in the bottle-holder and arrange the accessories over the remaining surface. 5. Close the lid of the Nuk micro express plus. To ensure that it is properly locked, check that the markings (5) are aligned. 6. Put the Nuk micro express plus in the microwave oven. 7. Set the microwave oven to the relevant power and time. Do not exceed the time quoted. 4 Min.: 1000 W. 5 Min.: 800-950 W. 7 Min.: 500-750 W. To prevent any risk of scalding from the hot steam or hot moisture, wait 5 minutes before removing the Nuk micro express plus from the microwave oven. 8. To open the Nuk micro express plus easily, turn the lid with your fingers until the latch opens. Then remove the lid. Ensure you protect your hands and fingers adequately. To protect your child. Children are often poor judges of hazards and this results in them sustaining injuries, so please note the following: This product may only be used under adult supervision. Take care to ensure that the unit is always kept out of the reach of children. Ensure that the plastic packaging is kept out of reach of children - plastic packaging is not a toy. When working with very hot water, children should always be kept at a safe distance. Risk of melting: 1. Ensure that you fill the container with exactly 200 ml of water. 2. Ensure that the lid is securely closed and in the lock position. 3. Ensure that the sterilisation time is set according to the power version of your microwave. Power - time: 1000 W - 4 minutes. 800-950 W - 5 minutes. 500-750 W - 7 minutes. Should the above steps not be followed exactly, it may result in some or all of your bottles and/or even the Nuk micro express plus unit melting. *Please note that melted bottles will not be replaced under any circumstances.
