How to use
Usage instructions:
First, assess your hair.
Starting level of your hair should range between dark blonde and medium brown.
Dark blonde to light brown.
Medium brown.
Before proceeding refer to leaflet for strand test.
Next, get perfect colour.
Apply pre-lightening cream.
Get your perfect vivid colour with Renew perfect colour cream.
Treat your vivid locks with 2 weekly conditioning treatments.
After pre-lightening, your end shade must be a medium blonde.

Always perform a skin sensitivity test 48 hours before use as well as a strand test (refer to instruction leaflet).
Do not use if there has been an allergic reaction to a similar product or if you have experienced a reaction to temporary 'black henna' tattoo in the past.
Wait at least 2 months if your hair has been coloured with henna or progressive dye.
Do not use if there are signs of cuts, abrasions, sores or any scalp disorder or if hair is brittle and breaks easily.
Wait at least 2 weeks after using a bleach, perm, relaxer or any chemical straightening process.
Wear protective gloves during application.
Keep out of the reach of children.
For external use only. Do not ingest. If swallowed accidentally, seek medical assistance.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. If product comes into contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical advice if the irritation persists. If skin irritation occurs, seek medical advice if irritation persists.
Pre-lightening powder contains ammonium persulfate & potassium persulfate. Colourant contains phenylenediamines, resorcinol & ammonia. Developer contains hydrogen peroxide.
Caution - this product contains ingredients that can cause skin irritation in certain individuals. A preliminary skin sensitivity test shall first be made in accordance with the accompanying instructions. Do not use on eyelashes or eyebrows - to do so can cause blindness.

Works on short 4c hair
I have very short hair and use this brand to get the Ash blonde colour.
My hair was black and I had to bleach 3 times in hourly intervals during the day to give my scalp a break then I used the last step for the grey after the 3 step bleach and the colour looks amazing.
I finish it off with the silver shampoo and the colour conditioner. I get compliments about my hair colour everyday.
I use the box for a total of 3 applications/ touch ups which I do every 3 - 4 weeks so one box for me lasts about 2 and a half months.

Very Happy with the results
If you already light blonde with slight darker roots, than it works. At first I was sceptical, but I did a test on a small strand of my hair and was happy with the results, exactly what I wanted. Note, however I did not use the bleach. Only used the hair colour with the developer, mixed it together. First touched up my roots, than waited for 10minutes. After that, I did al my hair and extremely happy as my hair is a light blonde, no yellow neither orange. The colour treatment must be done afterwards, as the instructions. My hair feels soft, and shiny. If you do have dark hair and wants to go light, I suggest you go to a Professional, but if you already light blonde, this is perfect colour to maintain it.

Works with a toner
So it does definitely work if you use a toner as some people above stated. I used 2 drops of gentian violet in white conditioner after rinsing out the bleach. Kept it on for about 1min then rinsed it. Note that if you have long hair like I do middle of the back you need at least 4 boxes to cover everything. My original hair colour was brown before the pre-lightning was enough for my whole head. The greyish colour did definitely take on my hair but as I said it was way too little so only the back of my head changed colour. It would be great if the instructions stated that a toner is needed.

Happy customer
Very happy. As long as your hair is already blonde or brown and not pitch black then you're good to go. I was very skeptical but my hair actually came out grey in the end. Just follow the instructions and you'll be happy with the results!

Renew grey
after you bleach your hair, you need to wash it with silver shampoo (which you can buy from clicks, it neutralises the brassy yellow tones), or put a few drops of gentian violet in your shampoo and use that, THEN dye your hair grey, after a few washes, it will fade and look better :)

Effortlessly Professional
What an amazing product! Effortless from dark brown to blond. Easy to follow instructions and the smell was not overwhelming. Light on budget and highly recommend. Well done on putting this product available to desperate ladies.

Not recommended
The bleaching part worked well but the colour did not take at all. My hair was yellow. I followed the instructions step by step so rather use something else or go to the hairdresser.

Don't purchase
As a previous review mentioned your hair turns yellow. The pre-ligtening kit works well. The product suggestion for the amount of time to keep the bleach on causes a problem. You end up washing the bleach out too early and your hair doesn't take on the grey colour. Your final product will be a dull blonde/light copper colour.

It works you just need a toner
I used this and it came out yellow and then I did some research and all I needed was a toner. You can use Gentian violet in conditioner or shampoo, not too much just a few drops and you are good to go. The purple eliminates the yellow tint in your hair. Pity I can't upload a picture.

Renew Ash Blonde
Yellow and unhappy. Whilst I read the reviews I still opted to get the box and proceeded with the application. The only part of the process that did work was Step 1 which not only lightened my hair but made it yellow (as per the instruction leaflet). However, when I proceeded with step 2 by applying the actual hair dye, nothing happened. Well, now I am stuck with it and is walking around like a ray of sunshine.
I think this product should be removed from the shelves. The actual result and the image on the box is not even a close enough match.

Not a big fan
All this does is basically make your hair blonde/ yellow. The silver/grey didn't work on my hair. If you have medium to long hair I'd suggest buying at the very least 3 boxes.... Not a lot of product.

Disappointed
My hair colour faded after a week. It was really beautiful and I thought maybe it's my phone that's not showing my colour properly and I realised that it had really gone back to a typical blonde. Disappointed as I really loved the colour.

Pissed off
Very disappointed in this product!!! The bleaching part worked really well but when it came to the coloring part nothing happened I'm a platinum blonde now and I'm really pissed off!! Waste of money and time if I could rate this product I would give it a zero and will recommend everyone to not use this product ever!!!

Terrible product
I bought this and bleached my hair with the bleach, which was totally fine. It was really blonde! Then I applied the color and my head was burning. Guess what? NO COLOR. only my baby hairs caught the color and some of my roots......so I rushed and got the renew blue color and I've been dying my hair for YEARS. I know how to dye my hair. I put the color on as instructed and my hair didn't turn blue......IT TURNED A GARBAGE GREEN. I had to run out to the store AGAIN! to get a normal black hair dye not from RENEW as I had work the next day. I damaged my hair so bad and renew service was 0% helpful.

Renew pearl grey
Renew pearl grey on the box. The developer shows the colour ash blonde on the tube. There is absolutely nothing silver/grey about my hair. Had to tone the brass down with a purple shampoo. Not happy.

DO NOT BUY!
This product is absolutely terrible. If you are using it for the bleach part, fine. BUT, the colour part of it is definitely wrong. Like the other review here states, if your hair is medium blonde, then it doesn't work. My hair was platinum blonde before I started. Afterwards, my hair was GREEN. Yes people, like old-unattended-swimming-pool green. Just don't do it if you value your hair!! If i could, i'd give this zero stars

Unclear instructions
You will need 2 boxes of this product if your hair is at a medium length. The pre-lightening system works exceptionally well, but do keep in mind that the instructions do not specify what colour to lighten the hair to in order for the grey colour to develop.
I made the mistake of assuming that the hair had to have yellow/orange tones and the colour did not develop. The company advised that your hair must be almost a white/platinum colour for the grey to develop.
Besides the unclear instructions, still a good product.

a Swing and a Miss
This product comes in two parts. First the bleaching kit to lighten, and then the actual colour. The bleach works well, and isn't as harsh. The colour part didn't do much though. It did take out most of the yellow in the bleached hair, but it definitely did not make it gray like the image on the box. If you cant find a bleach kit though, this is a good one to use if only for that.
