Revite Slow Release Magnesium 100 Tablets
Magnesium assists in utilising proteins and calcium. It helps regulate the proper functioning of muscles and the nervous system. It is also necessary for energy production. A sufficient intake of magnesium is of utmost importance, especially at times of increased demand. Sportsmen and women, pregnant and lactating women, pre- and post-menopausal women, elderly women, people with reduced dietary intake and people suffering from fatigue and lifestyle stress all require increased amounts of magnesium. Revite magnesium slow release tablets have been specially formulated to gradually release controlled amounts of magnesium for easy absorption. *Nutrient reference value. Tel: 011 457 3900. www.revite.co.za. Revite Magnesium tablets are entric coated and will not dissolve whilst in the stomach because the coating is resistant to the acidic stomach juices. Once the tablet passes through to the more alkaline small intestine, the enteric coating starts dissolving and the magnesium begins releasing. Depending on a person's diet and intensity of peristalsis, the empty matrix core may remain relatively intact and be visible in the stool, however, the Magnesium chloride will have completely diffused from the tablet core.
