Blows my hair so straight that it looks like I used a straightener. Wonderful hairdryer. Works well with my thick, frizzy hair.

Value for money
Okay so don’t know how long this dryer will last but so far I’m super impressed. My hair looks like I flat ironed it when I’m done and my hair style lasts long. I was very sceptical #1 price #2 I’m use to using Tony and guy/ parlux and oh boy it’s good. So definitely value for money

Safeway easy style hairdryer
Hairdryer has a very short cord and makes it difficult to stand and dry your hair.

doesnt last long but powerful
It has a very powerful motor, but unfortunately does not last very long, Ive been through 2 already, after about a year of mild usage the brackets that hold the motor in place give way, hence the noise it produces as other have noted

Good quality and fast drying
This is the first hairdryer I bought for myself and I am truly impressed. It dries my long hair in half the time other hairdryers do. Its also value for money and great quality.
The buttons are ideally located for right-handed users and are nicely out of the way but may be awkward for left-handed users.
NOTE: The hairdryer is incorrectly labelled on the website. What you get is a 2200watt Safeway High Power Fast Drying Styling hair dryer.
All in all I am very happy with my purchase.

Best ever
I have this for years bought on holiday at PST and its still going strong. Its reasonable compared to other brands. 2000w superfast drying.
Weekly usage and been dropped a few times. I love it !!!

Hairdryer exploded in my hand!!
I used it the other day and it exploded in my hand, luckily I was not badly injured. Please be careful of the safety risks associated with this product to avoid the same happening to you.

Dissatisfied with safeway D.C dryer
It shut down and did not want to come on after just blow drying my hair for fifteen minutes seem like it ober heated took it back to the store and they didnt want to replace it for me with another one i had to end up selling it

Hairdryer
Not happy at all. Baught 2 hairdryers in the last 2 years and a half years. They seem to blow cold air just after the gaurantee period expires. Before the last 2 hairdryers, the safeway one i had lasted about almost 6 years . So what happens now. Its easy to say " there is nothing we can do" because it broke shortly after 12 months . Not happy at all.

I've been a believer in this hairdryer for years now but it only lasts me 2 years and I've owned 5 already. The one I bought in 2019 is busy giving in already and it's not even 2 years

The hair dryer makes funny noise in less than 6 months, can't return it coz I lost my slip..... I'm just disappointed.

Safeway is not safe
I've been reading the reviews and majority of the good ones are written before 2016. I also used to be crazy about this product. I have recommended it to so many people who are impressed with it when they see it. But I bought one last year Jan after about 5 years of owning one before and then just last week it exploded, with a bang and a burn mark.

I like the Safeway hairdryer for the power and thin nozzle, however mine only lasted one year, stopped warming and only blowing cold and I am a bit skeptic on buying another one.

Bad design
I find this hair dryer very awkward to operate. The switches are in the place where I grip the dryer, so it becomes difficult to hold the dryer, and I often inadvertently switch off the dryer or change the setting without meaning to. The most uncomfortable dryer I have used in 55 years! Please pass this message on to designers - I cannot find any address to contact them.

Not what I expected
I bought this dryer last year April and it only lasted a year. It just over heated and did not want to work. It had this smoke smell coming out of it. Not happy with the brand.

Value for money
I must admit that Safeway products did not have a good reputation many years back but in recent years they have really stepped up their game. This hairdryer is fantastic. Great value for money. Doesn't burn my skin and straightens my frizzy hair beautifully

Good price for quality
I think this product is wonderful, it is powerful enough to straighten my frizzy hair and lasts about 5 years (used daily) I have never had an issue and the price is great

Best Hairdryer
By far the best hairdryer I've ever used. Purchased my first one in 2005 and its still going strong. I then purchased this newer model and if you're looking for sleek silky hair this is the one. Very powerful and gives you that salon look in half the time.

powerful
I just purchased this hairdryer yesterday. I was looking at another brand as it had claims of frizz taming etc and was just about to purchase that one when the clicks consultant asked if I needed help and he advised me that the one i wanted was not a good buy. He showed me by testing the two instore and there was no doubt about it that the safeway won hands down. it was so much more powerful. I used it last night and had great results.

Safeway 2000W professional hairdryer is definetly the greatest value you can find for your money. This hairdryer I will advise anyone to buy this magnificent hairdryer and the heat settings are incredible and fast. The best part is the nossle, never ever had to return or replace mine after 5 years mine is still going strong.

Safeway hairdryer, one of the most reliable hair tools!
I have my Safeway hairdryer for about 3 years now, and I have never had any issues! Previously, hairdryers gave up on me within 2 years, my Safeway is still going strong!
Thanks to the slim nozzle, drying time is also shortened as heat is concentrated and reaches my hair a lot faster. My hair also looks a lot more sleek, and when done with effort (Non-lazy days) the results are also defined to a sleek and silky look/feel.
A good investment!

Value for money
After a decade with my first safeway hairdryer it needed replacing. Got my second for almost 3 years now and still going strong. It's extremely powerful and I like the 2 setting so I can put it on a lower setting when doing my daughters hair. Will never trade it for another brand.
