It helps to protect your baby's developing immune system from potentially harmful bugs and bacteria. What do I need to 'know’? Make sure that all bottles, teats and accessories are disassembled before sterilising. This is to ensure that all areas make contact with the steam or solution. You can leave the sterilised contents inside the steriliser for 24 hours, make sure the lid is kept closed for the duration of 24 hours though. Ensure you re-assemble items with clean hands or sterilised tongs if you can and always on a clean surface too. The inside of the steriliser lid is perfect for this. Not all products are suitable for all methods of sterilisation, check carefully before sterilising. Simple and easy to use, our 2 in 1 combination steriliser has been designed to give you ultimate convenience, killing 99.9% bacteria to keep your baby healthy and happy. Keeps contents sterile for a full 24 hours- when the lid is kept closed. You can choose to sterilise in either the microwave with only water using steam for a chemical free clean, or using the cold water method with sterilising solution added. Using these modes will effectively sterilise the contents ready for the next use. The large capacity holds 4 wide neck bottles, teats, collars, caps and tongs. Usage instructions:
Microwave use: Step 1: Add 200 ml of water. Step 2: Place washed components into the steriliser and close the lid. Step 3: Microwave on full power following the time guidelines below. Step 4: Leave to cool for 3 minutes before handling with care - be aware. The unit and contents will still be hot! Wattage - time on full power - cooling time. Up to 800W - 6 minutes - 3 minutes. 850-1000W - 4 minutes* - 3 minutes. Cold water use: Step 1: Add your sterilising tablet or fluid following the manufacturer's instructions. Step 2: Place washed components into the steriliser. Use the basket to ensure all items are fully submerged. Step 3: Close the lid thoroughly. Step 4: Leave the items submerged for the time indicated by the manufacturer of the sterilant.
