Dosage and directions for use: Adults and children 9 years and older: take 1 capsule daily. Take with water after food.

Storage instructions:
Store at or below 25 degrees C in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Storing and disposing of Vital omega 3, 6 & 9: Store at or below 25 degrees C in a dry place. Protect from light. Store in original packaging until required for use. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the label. Return all unused medicine to your pharmacist. Do not dispose of unused medicine in drains or sewerage systems (e.g. toilets). Store all medicines out of reach of children.

Warnings:
Before you take/use vital omega 3, 6 & 9: Do not take/use Vital omega 3, 6 & 9: If you are allergic to any of the ingredients it contains (see "what Vital omega 3, 68 & 9 contains"). Take special care with Vital omega 3, 6 & 9: Nutrients can also be obtained from other sources, e.g. daily diet and other supplements. Please take this into consideration when taking Vital omega 3, 6 & 9. Taking Vital omega 3, 6 & 9 with food or drink: Vital omega 3, 6 & 9 should be taken after a meal with water. Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Do not take Vital omega 3, 6 & 9 if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, since the safety has not been established. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding your baby, please consult your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional for advice before taking Vital omega 3, 6 & 9. Driving and using machinery: The effect of Vital omega 3, 6 & 9 on the ability to drive and use machinery has not been studied. It is unlikely that it will impair your ability to drive or use machines. However, please take care when driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you. Important information about some of the ingredients of Vital Omega 3, 6 & 9: The capsule shell contains halaal gelatine of bovine origin. Vital omega 3, 6 & 9 contains glycerol and sorbitol. If you have been told that you have an intolerance to glycerol and/or sorbitol, you should not take it. Taking other medicines with Vital omega 3, 6 & 9: Always tell your healthcare professional if you are taking any other medicines. (This includes complementary or traditional medicines.). There are no known interactions between Vital Omega 3, 6 & 9 and other medicines. How to take Vital omega 3, 6 & 9: Always take Vital omega 3, 6 & 9 exactly as indicated or as your doctor or pharmacist has instructed you. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. The dosage for adults and children 9 years and older is 1 capsule daily. Take with water after a meal. Vital omega 3, 6 & 9 may be taken continuously. If you take more Vital omega 3, 6 & 9 than you should: In the event of overdosage, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If neither is available, contact the nearest hospital or poison control centre. If you take more Vital omega 3, 6 & 9 than you should, it can increase your risk of experiencing side effects such as indigestion and loose stools. It may also increase the risk of increased bleeding time. Discontinue use of Vital omega 3, 6 & 9 immediately. If you forget to take a dose of Vital omega 3, 6 & 9: If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If you do not remember the forgotten dose before the next dose is due, skip the forgotten dose and continue with your regular dosage schedule of 1 capsule per day (every 24 hours). Do not take a double dose to make up for the forgotten individual dose. Presentation of Vital omega 3, 6 & 9: A plastic container with 30, 90 or 120 Vital omega 3, 6 & 9 soft gelatine capsules. Identification of Vital omega 3, 6 & 9: An oblong, clear soft gelatine capsule. This unregistered medicine has not been evaluated by the SAHPRA for its quality, safety or intended use. Keep out of reach of children. Possible side effects: Vital omega 3, 6 & 9 can have side effects. Not all side effects reported for Vital omega 3, 6 & 9 are included in this leaflet. Should your general health worsen or if you experience any untoward effects while taking this medicine, please consult your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional for advice. Side effects that you should report to your doctor as soon as possible: Itchy and watery eyes, hives, nausea and vomiting. If you have them, you may have had an allergic reaction to Vital omega 3, 6 & 9. You may need medical attention. If you notice any side effects not mentioned in this leaflet, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.
