How to use
Usage instructions:
Dermafilm should be applied directly to warts once or twice a day for up to 12 weeks and is suitable for children and adults from the age of 2 years. 1. The wart should be soaked in warm water for 5 minutes and dried thoroughly with a clean towel. 2. A thin layer of Dermafilm should be applied directly to the wart. Care should be taken to avoid the healthy surrounding skin. 3. The solution should be allowed to dry thoroughly. The wart should be covered with a plaster (dressing) if it is large or if it is on the foot to help penetration of ingredients. It is recommended to continue applying the solution until whichever of the following occurs first: The solution has been applied for 12 weeks, the wart is completely cleared, and the normal ridgelines of the skin have been restored. For warts, clinically visible improvement should occur in 1-2 weeks, but the maximum effect may be expected after 4-8 weeks. If warts persist beyond 12 weeks, the patient should be advised to consult their healthcare practitioner. Consider alternative solutions if warts cover a large area of the body (more than 5 cm2). For more information on how to use Dermafilm, please read the Patient Information Leaflet included in the box thoroughly.
Storage instructions:
Keep tightly closed. Store below 25°C.
Warnings:
Highly inflammable. Keep out of reach of children. For external use only. Children between 2-12 years must be helped by an adult to use Dermafilm. Avoid applying to normal surrounding skin or healthy skin. Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly. Dermafilm should be avoided if the skin is irritated, infected, or erythematous. Patients with diabetes mellitus or poor circulation should not use them due to an increased risk of infection. The maximum time of use is 12 weeks, if the wart remains after this, you should see a healthcare practitioner.
