Usage instructions:
Important notices: Breast milk is best for babies. Infant formula is intended to replace breast milk when mothers do not breast feed. Good maternal nutrition is important for preparation and maintenance of breast feeding. Introducing partial cup feeding could negatively affect breast feeding and reversing a decision not to breast feed is difficult. Professional advice should be followed on infant feeding. Infant formula should be prepared and used as directed. Unnecessary or improper use of infant formula may present a health hazard. Social and financial implications should be considered when selecting a method of infant feeding. In order to avoid tooth decay, don't allow prolonged or frequent contact of milk feeds with your baby's teeth. Make sure that your baby's teeth are cleaned after feed at night. Always hold your baby during cup feeding to encourange bonding. Never leave your baby alone during feeding. Always use the formula immediately after preparation. Never keep leftover feeds. Feeding instructions: This feeding table is based on the average requirements of infants. Only use enclosed scoop. Do not prepare the formula stronger or weaker than indicated, unless your doctor prescribes differently. Only use water which has been boiled and prepare one cup at a time. Failure to follow preparation and mixing instructions may make your baby ill. Baby's mass (kg) - age weeks - quantity of water (ml) - level scoops - feed per day. 2.5 - 0-2 - 50 - 2 - 7-8. 3.0 - 2-4 - 75 - 3 - 7. 3.5 - 4-6 - 100 - 4 - 6-7. 4.0 - 6-8 - 125 - 5 - 6. 4.5 - 8-10 - 150 - 6 - 5-6. 5.0 - 10-12 - 175 - 7 - 5. 5.5 - 12-14 - 200 - 8 - 5-4. 6.0 - 14-16 - 225 - 9 - 4. 6.5+ - 16+ - 250 - 10 - 4. For the health of your infant follow the instructions carefully. From the age of 6 months, if advised by your doctor or nurse, gradually give supplementary foods. Preparation: 1. Always wash your hands and clean everything used to mix the feed. 2. Sterilize cup and lid by boiling in water for 10 minutes. 3. Boil fresh drinking water for 10 minutes, allow to cool until lukewarm. Consult feeding table. Pour correct amount of previously boiled water into sterilized cup. 4. Add correct number of level scoops of the Infacare® 1 powder. Use only scoop enclosed. Level each scoop with the back of a clean knife. Do not press the powder down. 5. Close the cup with a sterilized lid and shake well until the powder is completely dissolved. Close the cup with a sterilized lid. Check temperature of the feed on the inside wrist. Use formula immediately after preparation. 6. Clean cup immediately after use and store dry. Never re-use unfinished feeds.

Storage instructions:
Storage conditions: Store powder in a cool, dry place - do not refrigerate. After opening fold the inner sachet. The opened sachet can be stored in the carton with the lid closed. Use contents of sachet within 4 weeks after opening. Use-by date is indicated on the bottom of the carton. Do not decant powder into another container.
