For a standard serving size of 225 ml, add 48.6g of powder to 190 ml of water. *The standard dilution is 216g of powder brought up to 1 L with water. For a standard serving of 225 ml, combine 5 scoops (approximately 48.6g) of powder with 190 ml of water. **Individuals 4 years and older. Nutritional supplement for growing children: PediaSure® is a nutritional supplement drink for children aged 3-10 years. Usage instructions:
Recommended use: Use alongside or in between meals, as required. Do not exceed the maximum number of servings per day: 2 for 3-8 years old; 2-3 for 9-10 years old. Nutritional supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Ask your healthcare professional for guidance regarding your child's specific nutritional needs. Instructions for use: To prepare one 225 ml serving, pour 190 ml of room temperature or cold water into a cup and gradually mix in 5 packed, level scoops of PediaSure® powder. Once mixed, PediaSure® should be covered, refrigerated and used within 24 hours. 5 Scoops - 190 ml - 225 ml. 3-8 years - 9-10 years. 2 servings per day+ - 2-3 servings per day+. +Serving = 48.6g powder in 190 ml of water to yield 225 ml.
Storage instructions:
Store unopened tin in a cool, dry place at room temperature (not in a refrigerator). Opened tins should be covered and the contents used within 3 weeks.
Warnings:
Never heat PediaSure® in a microwave oven. Serious burns can result. Mixing powder with water above 35 degrees C may compromise the benefits of the lactobacillus acidophilus. Not for children with galactosaemia. Not for parenteral use.
